Hooooo~ This one's a doozy. To celebrate 4 years of WOE, (and coincidentally the first of this Arc is my 300th page. How 'bout that,) I bring you a completely new Saga/Arc, which will be completed in various installments over the course of the comic. For now I built up a nice little buffer and will continue to upload a page once a day for a little over a week or so, all the while making more progress on the remaking and maybe a few more pages for The L-7071 Crisis.

I'll go ahead and say now that it'll be quite some time before anyone in WOE rivals the powers of Ancient and Arahnx, but I figured it would be a good taste of what kind of over-the-top action and power to expect later. After all, I've stated for some time now that DBZ and Kingdom Hearts are massive influences of mine, but have barely shown you any action so far! (Though once Passion starts back up it won't be too long before we get to see some that will last much longer than Ixis and Ixal's first brief skirmish.)

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this, I threw a lot of love and effort into it. After the sluggish start WOE has had, working on this felt downright exhilarating at times, and hopefully I can put that energy into the actual story as well so we can finally reach the points of Ixis and Reina's time where shit starts getting serious. It also feels great to introduce the first Draconian in-comic. A race that plays a big role in the history of my Expanded Universe, as well as a big role in Project Guardian and to a lesser extent; WOE.

So yeah... Thanks for reading and here's to another year!

In Other News: - I stopped procrastinating and made a place-holder ad for when there are no bids for my PW Adbox. Instead of a big blue "Your ad here" the site will just sport a fancy new WOE logo until someone bids.
By the way the minium bid is set to free, so if any fans want to get in on some free comic advertising when there's nothing going on up there, feel free to sign up with PW! https://www.projectwonderful.com/?tag=74329

- I'll be keeping the Playlist for The L-7071 Crisis on the Comic Pages until starting Passion back up again.

- The mysterious Arahnx's character bio is now available in the character section! Be sure to check him out, (as well as the others if you haven't already!)

What's Next? - Redrawing. I'm going to start focusing on the remake pages again so I can get them done with and start pushing forward with the current part of the story.
I won't lie, it'll still take a while, and my apologies for constantly flipping the switch between doing only image remakes to touching up dialogue, and from promising to juggle old and new but now deciding to focus more on remaking. It's probably hard to trust me by now but I just have to do this for me and my own silly brain, so again; sorry to those who find it annoying having to wait so long for new pages.

- New pics for the Lore/Characters/Music pics on the front page. Something akin to the new Chapter Music sections.
The books look too bleh the way they are now, I want each of them to have a more individual look to them and just make them less dull and tacked-on.

I already don't like this guy. Villains who represent the "Black" end of the Black/White, Good/Evil spectrum and justify all of their actions as preserving that balance always make me angry.
WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS THE SUPER POWERED ONES??!

Meh, he'll get his. In one way or another.
I'm much more interested in the Draconian and Ancient.

>:'C
MORE, I SAY. MORE.

@SpiralPen: Yeah, Arahnx is a rather cliche fellow at the moment, isn't he? Haha.

If you haven't already, be sure to check out the character section. I've made bios for Arahnx, Ancient, Nine and the Draconian, all of which I'm sure you'll find interesting if you haven't already read through 'em.

@Seven Rain:
I just did and I was about to edit my previous comment.

The fact that his actions resulted in the births of new species definitely lends him some credibility, especially if that was his plan all along. But one has to wonder if the evolution of new species isn't something that can happen without great catastrophe. I suppose species adapt to survive, thus some sort of catastrophe is required to bring about a drastic upheaval in special differentiation.
I genuinely like him more now.

DAMMIT, NOW I HAVE NOBODY TO HATE.
I'll just...
*beats up Sirius and Dalson*

@SpiralPen: Haha, amazing how much of a difference the bio can make. I'm looking forward to seeing how people feel about him later in this Arc.

@Seven Rain:
You know, maybe if he didn't talk like a destructive and psychopathic maniac, people would be more open to his ideas.
He should attend a seminar on how to express himself better.

it´s hard to hate villains like that but why do they hide it by acting like a psychopath or something? XD

And here I thought he changed his name just because it was cool.

@SpiralPen: I know, right?

@dunklen: You'll just have to wait and see~ Arahnx will hold plenty of surprises.

@ApaFox: That too. And in case anyone was wondering, his real name will be revealed before the end of the chapter. ;D
