Well, Brigand is a etherean or a sub-race of the etherean or from a ethnic etherean group because there's no way he is a human with that look and appearance.

@Seven Rain: By the way, I wanted to ask if it's not too much trouble, Is "Etherean" a collective term for all the non-human races or just one specific race?

@dunklen: Oh don't worry, I love answering questions about the EthereaVerse! Ask to your heart's content!

Ethereans are a singular race/species. They all have black hair and cat ears, and they're found all over the universe.

Brigan, Fathom, and the Draconian are all of different races/species.
Draconians themselves are another set of beings found across the universe separate from Humans and Ethereans.
Brigan is part of something much rarer and Fathom's a bit of a secret.

The rest of Chrona is made up of humans, including the dark-skinned characters with pointed ears like Ara and the unnamed knight late in the Passion chapter.
