The voice was audible outside of his sleep! Perhaps he's becoming more and more aware of it?

@TheJGamer: I think he was remembering. but still, poor Ixis!

@TheJGamer: That's a good catch! The dreams don't normally stick with Ixis, but this one was very significant.

@Yenzala: Could be a bit of both! The mind can be tricky, making us hear/imagine things that aren't really there, and dreams in particular can really stick with you after waking up, if the dream had a strong effect on you.

@Seven Rain: I'm sure this isn't at all ominous and nothing bad could possibly come from this. No, Ixis is just still a little woozy from his injuries and a little shell-shocked from the intensity of that dream... right?

@Seven Rain: Also I can sorta imagine Ixis' thought process upon hearing "Perhaps you should get more sleep?"
'nopenopenopenope no more dreams thanks you very much'

@Redjive: Pretty spot-on.
I know I've definitely had some dreams that were so disturbing/painful that I didn't want to go back to sleep afterwards.

@Seven Rain: I can relate. Thankfully none of them related to real life events (except for that surreal one where I heard a pop and woke up to find my eardrum had ruptured)
Allow me to clarify. H*ck if I know what the dream started as, but there was one specific bit where it sounded like a very quiet explosiony sound, but only in the right ear, and I woke up and my eardrum was ruptured. Trust me, it's about as painful (and weird) as it sounds.

Only now I understood what WOE means.
I have never used that word and didn't got it all the time.

Ha... what a fitting title.

@JoKeR: It's honestly coincidental, I came up with "Wings Over Ethereal" before I started abbreviating it, but it does indeed fit well enough to roll with, haha.
