Of all the reasons for me to sympathize with WOE characters, I wasn't expecting airsickness to be one of them.

I would love to see more about Ethereal's daily life ...but Palacitia is also ok.

@sentiashinou: I've always wondered if it'd be even more discomforting and unwieldy for a human to fly around on another person with wings than it would be flying in a plane.

@JoKeR: I plan to show some stuff as they walk through the towns before reaching Palacitia! I'm kinda worried I'm getting too ambitious with the backgrounds and locales I have planned so updates might stay slow while I make my way through them, but it should be fun stuff.

@Seven Rain: I can tell you with a reasonable amount of certainty that flying on someone's back would be in some ways more enjoyable than flying in a commercial plane... however, in most ways it wouldn't. The view would be great, and obviously it'd be fairly exhilarating, but for both the flyer and the passenger it would be nerve-wracking, tiring, and uncomfortable. Probably still worth it though, as long as you don't go too high.

I'm amused that of all the characters who might need to be transported to Ethereal, the only actual Etherean who can fly (copy-pasta boy with the huge ears doesn't count) has to be carried there. Get better soon Ixis!

@sentiashinou: For some reason I'm not too surprised. I'm just surprised it was Reina, thought it'd be one of the Royal Knights.

@Redjive: At the very least it's not as tiring as you'd expect! Etherean wings don't flap like bird wings, since they're half-magical-construct they more or less act like a levitation device that simply propels them around.

It's hard to see but Ixis and Reina are actually strapped to the knights. They have special gear for carrying/rescuing Ethereans who are in conditions that prevent them from flying. (Sick/injured/unconscious/etc.)
I wanted a page to explain the gear a bit but no matter where I placed it it made the pacing feel awkward so I opted to skip a direct explanation.
Basically it's still nerve-wracking I'm sure, but less so than it probably was being carried by Ixal and Ixis!

(And I'm sure the Adamantian knights would be just as queasy flying around as Reina is, haha.)

@Seven Rain: I was wondering about that. My thoughts were along the lines of "Surely they aren't just trusting gravity and the undoubtedly weakened arms of both Reina and Ixis to keep them on the Rescue Knights?"
(they're goggles remind of the Rescue Knights from Skyward Sword)
Yet another example of both the level of thought you put into this comic and the competence of the Etherean military: any country where the majority or entirety of it's inhabitants can fly would need a system in place for transporting either prisoners or injured people.
